Gabriel Beadle, 32, long time resident of Berwick, Louisiana is a 2002 honors graduate of Berwick High School. Gabriel attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences in 2006. With his love for helping others, he saw it fit to go into the medical field. Shortly after completing his undergraduate degree, Gabriel was accepted into one of the most competitive graduate programs in the state at Our Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge. In 2010 he earned his Masterís Degree in Medical Science as a Physician Assistant. After passing the NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants) board exam, he began his role as a Certified Physician Assistant. During his schooling, Gabriel met his wife, Jessica, and the two married in 2009. Gabriel and Jessica bought their first home in Berwick, and the two began their careers. Gabriel began treating patients in family medicine in the Morgan City area while Jessica worked as a Registered Nurse at Teche Regional Medical Center.

In 2012, hoping to expand their family, God blessed the two with a healthy set of twins, Wyatt Gabriel and Lux Juliet Beadle. Around that time, urgent care facilities were popping up all over the country, and Gabriel knew an urgent care could benefit his community and provide citizens efficient, quality healthcare. In 2013, the Urgent Care of Morgan City was opened and has since been a staple in urgent care medicine and walk-in medical care in St. Mary Parish as well as the surrounding areas. In 2015, Gabriel recognized the need for patients to have access to out-patient radiology services, and Morgan City Radiology was formed. Gabriel loves his community and wants to bring and maintain business in St. Mary Parish.

Having the business experience along with the desire to improve his community, Gabriel thinks the Parish Council position is a great opportunity to make a difference. As council member, his primary goal is to increase economic growth and diversity in St. Mary Parish. To achieve this, it is imperative to establish good relationships with the business sector. It is equally important to create and maintain open lines of communication with citizens and meet residential needs. Both are critical to the growth and sustainability of St. Mary Parish. Gabriel deeply believes these goals are attainable and with his fellow council members and the support of St. Mary Parish citizens, the parish will thrive. He looks forward to the task at hand and will do everything in his power to ensure the prosperity of St. Mary Parish.
